NOW RECRUITING FOR OUR 2027 TRAINEE SOLICITOR PROGRAMME

We are currently looking to recruit a total of five trainee solicitors to join us on our two-year Solicitor Training Programme commencing September 2027.

  • Four six monthly seats. Training within teams specialising in various areas of law ranging from Employment and Litigation to Commercial Property and Company Commercial
  • Responsibility. You will be given responsibility from an early stage in order to gain real and practical experience maximising your future potential. You will not just be seen as an additional resource.
  • Support. Supervision and guidance from experienced directors and solicitors to ensure that you become a well-rounded commercial solicitor along with mentoring from newly qualified solicitors who have successfully travelled the same path.

  • Financial Support. 50% SQE Exam costs will be funded (on completion of SQE 1 + 2 within the two-year programme).

We are looking for people who:

  • Have a strong academic record, and are on track for a 2:1 or above in any degree subject (we understand if there are mitigating circumstances)

I began my training contract at Morgan LaRoche in September 2023 and will qualify into the Employment Team in September 2025. Throughout my training, I have had the opportunity to work across various departments, each offering valuable experience and a great balance of support and independence to carry out work.

The firm places a strong emphasis on trainee development, with constructive feedback and mentoring that have helped me build both confidence and capability. Starting as a trainee at MLR was the perfect foundation for my career.
