Position: 12-Month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Cover) – Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm)
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Billing & Legal Accounts Assistant to join our Finance Team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. The role involves supporting billing processes, handling client and ledger queries, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with SRA requirements.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
- Professional communication skills with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines.
- Previous billing or legal accounts experience desirable.
- Experience with SRA Accounts Rules is highly beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and process client invoices.
- Handle client and solicitor ledger queries.
- Process card payments, transfers, and daily banking tasks.
- Review completion statements and perform end-of-day compliance checks.
- Provide administrative cover for related accounts tasks when required.
