We are looking to recruit a General Office Assistant to work on a full time, permanent basis, based at our office in Llansamlet, Swansea. Hours of work, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (including 1 hour unpaid lunch break). This entry level position is also suitable for job share should two suitable applicants apply.
Key responsibilities:
Working within the Administration Department , reporting to the Practice and Operations Director, the successful applicant will assist with:
- Collection and delivery of Royal Mail and Special Deliveries
- Day to day deliveries, taking documents to Court and other Solicitor firms, taking internal mail to our Carmarthen office
- Administration duties including scanning, photocopying and binding documents
- Replenishing supplies required by the offices
- File retrievals from offsite storage location daily
- Management of files and deeds at offsite storage location
- Covering of Reception and other administration staff during annual leave and other absences
Skills:
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience working as part of a team
- Strong Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly
- A minimum of 5 GCSE or equivalent, grade C or above (including Maths and English)
In addition the successful candidate must be able to drive and hold a clean driving license as they will have use of the Company vehicle during working hours.
