Following the Chancellor’s Autumn Statement, the national living wage (NLW) and national minimum wage (NMW) rates will increase from 1 April 2023. The increase will be as follows:

Other statutory rate increases for April 2023 are as follows:
- The weekly rate for Statutory Maternity, Paternity, Adoption, Shared Parental and Parental Bereavement Pay, and the Statutory Maternity Allowance will increase from £156.66 per week to £172.48 per week.
- The weekly rate of Statutory Sick Pay will increase from £99.35 per week to £109.40 per week.
